At Sassy Superstar Designs we strive for excellence in every costume with strong attention to personal detail.  We will work diligently with each client to make sure they are getting a costume that truly projects the vision of the performance they have worked so hard to produce.

Sassy Superstar Designs made-to order costumes come to life from a mother/daughter team, Vikki and Julie Thompson, who bring their individual expertise to the designs.  We are confident we can give each client the individual attention they need to create something original and show stopping that is within their budget.

Julie Thompson

Julie has been working as a costumer in the film and television industry for the past nine years and has worked in costume departments which include the Best Costume Emmy winning television show “Pushing Daisies.”  Her years of Hollywood costume experience and connections give her access to many fabrics, stones and trims at competitive prices.  Julie was also a competitive dancer starting at just three years of age and danced into her high school years.  She is elated to be able to marry her knowledge of costumes and her love of dance to form Sassy Superstar Designs.

Vikki Thompson

Vikki, the woman behind the sewing machine, has over 40 years of sewing experience and has sewn many dance costumes over the years. She first began sewing costumes for her two daughters’ dance classes and then returned to sewing when her granddaughters started competitive dancing, recently creating and constructing a costume which received an overall best costume award in the junior/petite group category at the 2011 Starquest dance competition.
